Community, Respect & Equality is pleased to announce the release of the program’s Level 3 Accreditation guidelines – the highest level of recognition within the CRE Accreditation framework.

Since the CRE Accreditation framework was introduced, we have seen organisations across a range of sectors take action, and achieve Level 1 and Level 2 Accreditation, to raise awareness and demonstrate commitment to the prevention of violence against women in our local community.

Focusing on “Leading the Way”, the Level 3 Accreditation guidelines provide a clear pathway for organisations to take the next step and build on this growing momentum.

More than individual initiatives, or one-off actions, Level 3 Accreditation is about organisations embedding Community, Respect & Equality principles across their policies, practices, culture and leadership.  In doing so, they will demonstrate organisation-wide commitment to sustained action and continuous improvement that promotes respect, challenges inequality, and creates an environment where everyone feels safe and can thrive.

It also sets the benchmark for others to aspire to, and strengthens the collective impact of the Community, Respect and Equality network.

We look forward to seeing organisations continue to lead the way in building workplaces, services and communities where respect, equality and inclusion are not just aspirations, but everyday practice.

The Level 3 Accreditation Guidelines are now available on the CRE Portal.
