Protective Behaviours Workshop

Join Ngala and Desert Blue Connect for a fantastic information workshop on Protective Behaviours. Learn how to support and empower children with strategies to promote safety through fun, age appropriate activities.
Walk away with tools to:
- Encourage children to recognise and express all types of feelings.
- Support children in identifying safe people they can talk to about anything, and reinforce the importance of continuing to seek help until they feel heard.
- Help children identify situations that may cause them to feel worried, unsafe, or uncomfortable.
- Promote understanding of consent and the differences between public and private behaviours and spaces
- Creche available – bookings essential. Workshop at the Child and Parent Centre – Rangeway, entrance on Hovea Street.
