This project was developed to showcase and celebrate some of Geraldton’s local matriarchs\, sharing their moving stories. Learn more about women whose strength\, wisdom\, and leadership have helped shape families and communities across our region. \nThe initiative also marked the 10th Anniversary of the Ochre Ribbon Week Campaign\, first established by Aboriginal Family Legal Services in 2015 to raise awareness of the impacts of family and domestic violence on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
