This project was developed to showcase and celebrate some of Geraldton’s local matriarchs\, sharing their moving stories. Learn more about women whose strength\, wisdom\, and leadership have helped shape families and communities across our region. \nThe initiative also marked the 10th Anniversary of the Ochre Ribbon Week Campaign\, first established by Aboriginal Family Legal Services in 2015 to raise awareness of the impacts of family and domestic violence on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It’s time to put on your thinking caps because this quiz night will exclusively focus on the incredible contributions of women in history\, entertainment\, general knowledge\, and more! \nThis event is not just for the ladies\, everyone is welcome to join and celebrate International Women’s Day together. \nExpect an evening filled with fun\, laughter\, and friendly competition. We’ve got spot prizes\, raffles\, a silent auction\, and some wonderful entertainment lined up for you. \nAll proceeds from this event will contribute to supporting Desert Blue Connect’s safety and women’s health programs.
